Rates are a straight discount from our published 1-on-1 prices: 16% off with one friend (2 students), 33% off with two friends (3 students).
Friends in the same class revise together, stay accountable, and ask better questions. Many students find shared sessions easier to stick with week to week.

Each student pays their own reduced hourly rate. The tutor still plans for your group, but you are not paying for a full private slot alone.
When a friend is in the session, follow-up work is harder to skip. Students explain ideas to each other and catch gaps faster.

Within 24 hours we pair you with a Gold or Platinum tutor who teaches your subject and can run a paired or trio session.
Sessions run on your usual schedule. Each student is billed at the shared hourly rate for their tier, year level, and online or in-person format.
Per student, per hour. Calculated as a discount from our standard private rates on the rates page. Rounded to the nearest $5.
Billing is every 2 weeks for ongoing tutoring. Casual one-off sessions still include the $10 per hour premium where applicable.

Already tutoring with us and want to refer someone who enrols privately? That is separate from shared sessions. When your friend completes their first paid lesson and uses your referral code at enrolment, you each receive $20 credit.
You should be studying the same subject at a similar point in the course. Small year-level gaps can work if the tutor agrees the shared plan makes sense. We confirm this when we match you.
Groups run at a single tutor tier. Choose Gold or Platinum for the whole session; each student is billed at that tier's shared rate for their year level and format.
No. Masterclasses are fixed Sunday group classes at $40 per subject. Bring a friend is a private session with your own tutor, your own schedule, and pricing tied to our 1-on-1 Gold and Platinum rates.
Remaining students move to the applicable shared or private rate for how many are still in the session. We will confirm any change before your next billing cycle.
