Founder’s message
I’m Jason, the Founder of Vantage Tutoring. I’m now studying in 2nd year Medical Science with provisional Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University. Graduating from Brisbane SHS in 2024, I’ve developed systems that have helped improve hundreds of students’ grades, and allow them to become the students they aspire to be.
At Vantage, we don’t just lift marks, we build study habits and confidence in skills and techniques that go far beyond traditional tutoring and school curriculum. We bridge the difference between conventional classroom-style teaching, and homework support by traditional tutors, by equipping our students with the thinking skills and tools needed that are transferable across subjects, outside the classroom, and help them become more rounded people that make a lasting impact on others.

Yes. Weekly homework is included in every 1-on-1 package, and tutors provide ongoing feedback on work you bring to sessions.
All tutors are placed into one of two tiers: Academic Tutor (top 1% graduates with a 98+ subject score in the subject they tutor) or Senior Tutor (top 0.2% full mark achievers for competitive degree pathways such as Medicine/Law and intensive QCE assessment mastery: state medallists and current medical students with 3+ years of results, IA structuring, and exam conditioning).
No. Rates depend on tutor tier (Academic or Senior), year level, and whether sessions are online or in person. Both tiers include full resource access: syllabus study tools, hundreds of retrieval practice questions, and the 40-hour Chemistry masterclass library. Full pricing is on our rates page.
Our tutors are current university students at Brisbane institutions including UQ and Griffith, studying a range of degrees while continuing to tutor the subjects they excelled in.
